USANA® Celavive™ Creamy Foam Cleanser
USANA® Celavive™ Creamy Foam Cleanser is a comprehensive facial cleanser for the care of oily and combination skin. The cleanser is loaded with key active ingredients that promote healthy hydration and reduce visible signs of aging. It works to reduce oil and fight blemishes while helping you look good and feel great. Many of the active ingredients in Celavive Creamy Foam Cleanser have been used for centuries as trusted methods of skincare.
Soapberry Extract
The indigenous peoples of northwestern North America knew the potential uses and properties of soapberries hundreds of years ago. Soapberry were rarely eaten, like other berries in the same family, and could be mashed or whipped into a thick foam and used as a gentle detergent.
Whipped soapberry fruit was used to clean cookware and hunting weapons. Before embarking on a big hunt, some prepared a cathartic drink from soapberry fruit as part of an inner-cleansing ceremony in a sweat lodge.
Sugar Squalane and Glycosyl Trehalose
Derived from sugar cane, squalane is a softener that delivers hydration while safely and gently removing dirt, excess oil, and makeup. Sugar squalane is non-comedogenic, which means it will not clog facial pores. After use, it leaves skin feeling silky, supple, and smooth instead of heavy and greasy. Sugar squalane is a natural alternative to cosmetics with petroleum-based paraffin and silicone.
Glycosyl Trehalose, another sugar, works in a similar manner to moisturize skin. This sugar also removes excess sebum from the skin. Less sebum on skin can result in less shiny and oily skin, one of the goals of Celavive Creamy Foam Cleanser.
Sodium PCA
This salt acts as a humectant—a substance that promotes moisture retention—in the formulation of Celavive Creamy Foam Cleanser. Sodium PCA binds moisture to the superficial layers of the dermis to retain water and prevent dehydration through evaporation.
Olivol® Botanical Blend
Vegetable oils have been used as potent skin moisturizers since the second century BC. USANA uses a patented process to extract the moisturizing components of olive oil and channel them to provide safe and gentle hydration to your skin.
The Olivol Botanical Blend stimulates and encourages your body’s natural skin-repair process, which is necessary for a health and beautiful complexion. The blend’s chemical properties mimic the oil produced by your skin. This similarity allows for gentle hydration without irritation or redness. Olivol Botanical Blend also contains polyphenols which boast oxygen-scavenging effects that reduce free-radical damage.
